School, work, family. We know you're busy, nowadays everyone is. So when you do get the chance to ride, you want to ride the best!
Each of our hand-picked routes includes a map, a course you can download to your Gramin or other GPS device, course points clearly labeling every turn, plus clear start and finish points so there is absolutely no doubt of where you need to be. No more struggling to find obscure landmarks! In addition, many of our routes include additional information like scenery, road conditions, and more so you can choose the best route for the mood you're in.

To best use our courses you need a GPS enabled device. Download the .tcx file and place it into the corresponding folder on your gps device:
- For the Garmin Edge 500, place the file into the folder: \Garmin\New Files\
- For the Garmin Edge 705, place the file into the folder: \Garmin\Courses\

Highway 9 to Old San Jose
Distance: 70mi.
Elevation Gain: 5,700ft.
Est. Time: 6:30 hr.
Start off with a gentle ride through Santa Cruz and Ben Lomond. After a mild climb up the backside of highway 9 to Summit Road, enjoy the smooth, brisk descent down into Saratoga. Return to the coast over Old San Jose road through plenty of tree cover with limited traffic.

Demonstration Forest - Sawpit, Pig, Bacon
Distance: 16mi.
Elevation Gain: 3,100ft.
Est. Time: 2:30 hr.
Voted one of the best local mountain bike trails in the bay area, Sawpit is legendary for it’s playful technical terrain, endless singletrack, and fast descents. Combine little-known trails Pig and Bacon for a great loop sure to satisfy anyone. Bring your game face, and maybe some knee pads, this one is a blast.

Mt. Hamilton Road to Lick Observatory
Distance: 37mi.
Elevation Gain: 4,800ft.
Est. Time: 3:30 hr.
Epic views and low traffic, smooth roads await. This beautiful ride swoops into and out of two small valleys while holding a very consistant mild grade to the top of Mt. Hamilton. Restrooms, water, and even a vending machine will be waiting for you at the Lick Observatory at the summit.
